Next Shot is a GLP-1 medication tracking app for iPhone, made by Dodo Media LLC (“we,” “us”). This policy explains what information the app handles, where it goes, and the choices you have. The short version: your health data stays on your device and in your own private iCloud account. We do not run servers, we do not have accounts, and we cannot see your health data. We use third-party tools for advertising and app analytics, described below — they never receive your health information.
Next Shot stores what you enter or import so it can show it back to you:
All of this is stored on your device. If you are signed in to iCloud, it also syncs through your private iCloud database (Apple CloudKit) so it appears on your other devices. We have no access to your iCloud data — only you and Apple’s infrastructure handle it, under Apple’s privacy terms.
There is no Next Shot account, no sign-up, and no backend server operated by us. We never receive, store, or see your health information.
If you choose to connect Apple Health, Next Shot reads only the metrics you enable (such as weight, body fat, lean body mass, calories, protein, water, fiber, carbohydrates, fat, exercise time, waist circumference, and blood glucose) and stores them in the app for display alongside your logs. This is read-only and controlled by you in the app’s settings and in iOS Health permissions.
Health data — from Apple Health or entered in the app — is never used for advertising or marketing and is never shared with third parties.
The app can generate a PDF summary of your logged data. This happens entirely on your device. The PDF is only shared if and where you choose to share it.
If you use the optional in-app feedback form, your typed message, the feedback category, your app version, and your device model are sent to us by email through Web3Forms (web3forms.com), a form-relay service that acts as a data processor for delivery. The feedback form never includes your health data, and we ask that you not include personal or medical details in your message.
Subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat (revenuecat.com) to validate purchases and manage subscription status. RevenueCat receives purchase information (such as transaction identifiers and an anonymous app-generated identifier) but never your health data. See the RevenueCat privacy policy.
Dose reminders and related notifications are scheduled locally on your device. Notification content is generated on-device and is not sent to us.
We use third-party tools to advertise the app and understand how it is used. None of these tools ever receive your health information — your medications, doses, weight, metrics, side effects, and Apple Health data stay on your device and in your private iCloud, as described above.
You can change your tracking choice anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Your data stays until you delete it. You can delete individual entries in the app, or erase everything with Settings → Clear All Data. Deleting the app removes its on-device data; data synced to your private iCloud can be removed via Clear All Data before uninstalling, or by managing iCloud storage in iOS Settings.
Next Shot is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Your health data is under your direct control on your device and in your iCloud account — we hold none of it on any server. For the limited data handled by our advertising and analytics partners (device identifiers and usage events), you may have rights under laws such as GDPR or the CCPA, including opting out of tracking (iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking) and requesting access or deletion. Contact us and we will help, including passing deletion requests to our partners.

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the effective date above. Material changes will be highlighted in the app.
